Job Title: Accounting Assistant

Job Summary:

Dove Contracting is a Pittsburgh area construction services company specializing in commercial retail contracting. Founded in 2007, Dove Contracting, Inc. has succeeded by building solid relationships that form the framework of the construction process. We have an available position for an experienced accounting assistant.

Position Summary:

All aspects of accounting, bookkeeping and filing.

Essential Functions are:

  • Min. Five years’ experience working business accounting
  • Past experience with SAGE and QUICKBOOKS accounting software.
  • Maintain project, vendor and audit files
  • Prepare contracts, purchase orders and pay applications
  • Enter invoicing
  • Reconcile expenses
  • Maintain and enter weekly timesheets for payroll
  • Maintain Employee payroll files
  • Reconcile expenses
  • Prepare reports as necessary for job costing, payroll and accounting
  • Work with others on project team ensuring positive and constructive feedback.
  • Be highly motivated, and have the attitude to do what it takes to achieve a success.
  • Maintain good relations with all co-workers and vendors.
  • Enjoy what you do!

General knowledge of computer skills.
